{"id":11753,"date":"2026-02-23T08:00:26","date_gmt":"2026-02-23T05:00:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.anm.ro\/en\/?p=11753"},"modified":"2026-02-25T09:28:59","modified_gmt":"2026-02-25T06:28:59","slug":"important-notification-23-02-2026","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.anm.ro\/en\/important-notification-23-02-2026\/","title":{"rendered":"Important notification"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>23.02.2026<\/strong><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #333399;\"><strong>To the attention of all importers, distributors and users of medical devices<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\nThe National Agency for Medicines and Medical Devices of Romania (NAMMDR) has been informed about the marketing within the European Union of counterfeit units of \u201cCOVID-19 and Influenza A+B Antigen Combo Rapid Test For Self-testing\u201d, with reference FCO-6032 and batch number FCO24090516, manufactured by Safecare Biotech (Hangzhou) Co., Ltd., China.<br \/>\nAccording to the information held by the NAMMDR, counterfeit products can be identified by the following elements:<br \/>\nA label containing modified information regarding the batch number, manufacturing date and expiry date has been applied to the packaging, as follows:<br \/>\n\u2013 Batch number: FCO24090516<br \/>\n\u2013 Manufacturing date: 09\/2024<br \/>\n\u2013 Expiry date: 09\/2026<br \/>\n\u2013 The batch number and expiry date have been removed from the test cassette included in the kit, so only the following symbols appear:<br \/>\n\u2013 The expiry date has been removed from the tube containing the extraction solution (buffer).<br \/>\n\u2013 The swab included in the kit is not the same as the one used by the original manufacturer of the product. The original manufacturer of the swabs is Dalian Rongbang Medical Healthy Devices Co.
