Update on the availability of the VERORAB rabies vaccine
Subsequent to the press briefing published by the National Agency for Medicines and Medical Devices of Romania (NAMMDR) on 26.07.2026, please be advised of the following information regarding the availability of the VERORAB rabies vaccine.
The representative of the Marketing Authorisation Holder (MAH), Sanofi Romania SRL, informed the NAMMDR about the delivery of a new batch of vaccine.
To date, 12,526 doses have been delivered to authorised wholesale distributors, as requested.
The MAH also informed the NAMMDR that, in the coming period, it shall ensure the product’s availability.
The NAMMDR shall continue to monitor the situation of the marketing and vaccine stocks and shall inform the public and healthcare professionals in this respect.
